I've gotten past the Amazon validation thing and recorded 3 movies from Amazon last week. But for the past few days, it won't work at all.
I can go to the Amazon channel and see movies on the list ok.
When I select a video and "record", it tries to start, but it never gets to the stage when it is actually showing any seconds recorded. It fails after about 20 seconds without any message. I tried selecting"PLAY" for an Amazon prime video to see if that would work, and it doesn't work either. It shows "loading" for about 20 seconds, then flashes the movie page on Amazon briefly in the Playon window, then just closes it without any error message.
I am able to record off Netflix currently just fine, and my windows firewall has all the playon software, netflix.com and amazon.com on the exclusion list, so I don't think it's a firewall issue. Though I have installed malwarebytes since I last recorded amazon. Like I said, I can record off netflix though, so I doubt that's the issue.
I also am able to go to the same movie page on Amazon in Google Chrome and hit "play" and the movie plays fine.
