Now that PlayLater records in MP4 format (THANK YOU!), the current bit rate (approx 2500) results in files that are too large considering the frame sizes. It would be nice to specify a bit rate per recording, or maybe by frame size ranges (i.e. 0 - 360 = 1000, 361 - 480 = 1500, 481 - 1080 = 2500). This would reduce the file sizes where the higher bit rate really offers no picture quality benefit. It would have the added benefit of improving streaming performance where band width may be an issue or data limits exist.
I know I could re-encode it, but this shouldn't be necessary and introduces visual artifacts (at some level) and potential for other stream synchronization issues (audio lag, etc.)
