Record Source Frame Rate: Basically Add 24/25 PAL/60fps Recording Support

I would like to request a feature where PlayOn records in the source frame rate. Currently it appears that it only records in 30fps (29.97). Most movies and and some TV shows are sourced at 24 fps (23.976) or PAL 25. It appears that it records with a 2:2:2:4 (1:1:1:2) cadence/telecine. This causes judder. Some newer sources are now supporting 60fps (59.94). I presume that PlayOn would drop half the frame rate in this situation.

    On a sort of related subject, maybe playon could implement a sort of cropping feature aside from the manual record/playcast option.  Many movies contain black bars above and on the sides of the image.  Could this be automatically cropped during/before the recording?

    Are native framerate recordings on the go anytime soon or is it far away from being implemented?
