will there be a PlayLater channel for Directv NOW?

AT&T/Directv is announcing DirecTV Now Launch Event for Nov. 28.  Is playOn going to offer a channel to record content?

    Cord Cutters News claims that DirectTV Now will support IE11, so at least it's a possibility.

    With this month's launch of PlayOn Cloud, it may continue to receive most of the developers attention (e.g. increasing the number of channels available for it). If that's the case it will be a while before a PSVue or DTVNow channel beomes available for regular PlayOn.

    Please prioritize DirecTV NOW.  There is no other service like PlayOn to make DVR from this service.

    I vote for a DirectTV Now Channel as well, as soon as possible.

    I see Cartoon Network was just added in Release 4.2.109.18077 on March 21, first new channels added since September 2016, when PopcornFlix was added in Release 4.2.30.16062.

    So, there must be some developer cycles available.

    This really and truly would allow me to replace (and record) all the content I gave up when I cut the cable. And, I'd wager there are many more like that out there who have discovered PlayOn, during the cord-cutting process, only to discover it doesn't help as much once their provider's login is no longer valid.

    A channel for DirecTV Now has been added in PlayOn 4.2.113.18258. (Why the support staff don't update feature requests here I don't know.)

    Yes! But Include all directv too. There's a channel for TWC and XFINITY already

    I have tried support to no avail. Does anybody know how to create a subscription for shows that don't show up? I am trying to record Deadliest Catch Season 13 on Discovery, but only Season 12 is in my menu.

    For those of you who requested it, as you've noticed DirecTV Now is included as a channel.  @David S. - we're also working on a channel for the DirecTV 'Go' site.

     

    @BJ - our support team replied letting you know the season 13 videos were not yet available on demand on the DirecTV Now site.  You would have to record/watch when it airs live.

    Thanks PlayOn Support for adding the DirecTv Now channel. It works pretty good so far. I can even watch the live transport stream of certain channels, which is great.

    For those who don't now, your DIrectTv Now credentials also work on a growing number of provider sites/channels. So if you cannot find something by going through the DirectTv Now channel, it may be available through the channel itself. (and thus through PlayOn using that channel) You can access most Disney content channels (Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Free Form, ESPN, ESPN3, ABC) and NBC Universal content channels (NBC, Syfy, Bravo, CNBC, NBC Sports Extra), along with USA, FX, and Nat Geo. Most notable exceptions so far are Turner content channels (TNT, TBS, TCM, CNN) and A&E content channels (A&E, History Channel, AMC, Lifetime, LMN).
