Can you make the seek bar disappear on Android when in landscape?

Right now when i play something from playon on my Android phone (in landscape mode), the seek bar is over the bottom of the screen on top of the video.  Is there a way the seek bar can only come up when I touch the screen?

    Try pausing and then hitting play again.  This makes the bar go away on my android tablet.
