Getting a PlayOn recording to show up in the Local Media section of the PlayOn iPad app so that I can watch it offline

All I could get on this subject from the Help area of the PlayOn website and from interactions with Tech Support through the support ticket system is 1) "Just click on any individual recording in the PlayOn Desktop App and select Send to iTunes" and then 2) "sync those recordings from your PC to the iPad using iTunes". Having done all that, and not seeing my PlayOn recordings show up in the Local Media section of the PlayOn app, I'm assuming there are extra steps beyond what I was told. Would anyone on this forum know what these extra steps are? Thanks in advance.

    Once you have transferred the video thru iTunes to the iPad you use the "Videos" app on the iPad to watch the recording, not PlayOn. The same as content you purchased off iTunes.

    Is this still the case for watching local media or can media be loaded to the sd card in the ipad to be viewed?
