I would like to see the ability to resume recording for partial recordings. Also pause and resume current recording. I think this would partner well with the auto re-downloading request previously entered.

David S. There are technical reasons why they haven't done this. Unfortunately, I think making this work reliably is probably not worth the effort.
Besides, remember that not all of the video services will remember where you were in a video or will make you watch additional ads when resuming.
