PlayOn Cloud?

I hadn't noticed this before, but does PlayOn have a cloud recorder/player? All I've found is an Apple cloud player, but it appears it records in the cloud. Question though, why would I pay credits for this? Why can't it record to my preferred cloud provider like Amazon which I can get for $60 unlimited?

The title Playon Cloud can be misleading. It's really more a virtual recorder, with short-term storage. Instead of having to record content in real-time on your PC, you can schedule it to be recorded in the cloud, then download the resulting video file later (to an iOS device, PC, etc). Playon provides temporary storage only, for 30 days.

The idea of Playon Cloud recording to a cloud site (e.g., Amazon, Dropbox, etc) is a good one, maybe something they may consider down the road... For now, the ability to record in the cloud and then download after recording is complete is a welcome one, at least for me. I'm mobile and don't have great internet access, relying on my phone's data plan and free WiFi, wherever I can find it.
