It would be very helpful to have an Apple TV app which played the content from the PlayOn server vs having to use Apple AirPlay to stream from the smartphone or tablet.

Kelly Richardson We have been asking for years for this. It would really be nice as AirPlaying things from my phone ends up with them buffering a lot.

David S. If you don't want to use a more fully featured media server, like Plex or Emby, which have their own Apple TV apps, you can use VLC to watch videos from PlayOn via DLNA.
