Adding Attenna on-air channels

SInce the PlayOn software can download from the major antenna based broadcast networks NBC, CBS, ABC, PBS, I was wondering if you could add other antenna based channels such as GRIT, H&I(Heroes and Icons). Bounce, ME.TV, etc.

    Those networks don't have many videos online, if any, for PlayOn to access. If you want to record them, get an antenna and a Tablo DVR or an HDHomeRun.

    To expand on David's comment a bit. The PlayOn channels allow you to navigate on-demand websites of the different program providers. Most of those channels don't have on-demand websites. 

    Channels DVR and Plex also allow you to copy off of a network tuner. HDHomeRun is probably the best choice.

    I recommend anyone looking to record OTA TV to compare the features of the various models of Tablo and HDHomeRun devices and pick which works best for you. I watch many videos via Plex, some recorded on a Tablo and others via PlayOn. There are several 3rd party apps for exporting recordings from a Tablo DVR.
